DREAM Big. WORK Hard. GIVE Back.

The Center is envisioned as a state-of-the-art, privately led youth and family institution in Petersburg, Virginia. It will combine structured youth development, academic support, workforce preparation, athletics, aquatics, arts, technology, wellness, child care, family support, food and nutrition, events, and community partnership under one coordinated operating model.

The recommended development model preserves the 40,000-square-foot core youth center across three above-grade levels and treats the Olympic-sized aquatic center as a major additional basement or connected annex. This distinction is essential: a true 50-meter by 25-meter pool has approximately 13,455 square feet of water surface before decks, bleachers, locker rooms, mechanical systems, circulation, and life-safety requirements are added. A realistic aquatic program is therefore likely to require roughly 28,000-32,000 gross square feet by itself.

Mission

To empower children, youth, young adults, and families through safe relationships, high expectations, meaningful opportunities, education, wellness, creativity, workforce preparation, service, and leadership.

Vision

A Petersburg where every young person can see opportunity instead of obstacles, experience belonging and support, discover purpose, and gain the skills, relationships, and confidence to build a strong future.
